First published in Camelia, 19:41, Dec. 2011, the magazine of Soc. Española de la Camelia, with colour photo. Originated by Leonor Magariños in Cuntis (Pontevedra, Spain), and replicate and spread by Viveros Rio Tollo (Tomiño, Pontevedra, Spain) and Estación Fitopatolóxica Areeiro (Pontevedra, Sapin) who registered it. A seedling of C. japonica 'Katie', first flowered 2005. FLOWER: a medium size, rose form double, 7.5-9.5 cm diameter x 4 cm deep, colour red (RHSCC 054A); with 40-55 petals and 1-7 central petaloids. 0-11 stamens with cream filaments and yellow anthers. LEAF: dark green (RHSCC 147A), 8 cm x 4.5 cm, elliptical, serrate margin and pointed apex. PLANT: vigorous bush, with upright and fast growth habit. Late and short flowering period, from March to April.
