Stowe, 1951, American Camellia Yearbook, p.283: An incomplete double, 10 cm across x 6 cm deep. The colour is scarlet. It has bright yellow stamens intermixed with petals in the centre of the flower. The plant is a medium to slow, compact grower. Registered in American Camellia Yearbook, 1956, Reg. No.275. Originated by A.M. Stowe, Pensacola, Florida, USA.
