ACS Registration #3048 . 2017 This 12-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2012. It was originated and registered by William and Linda Nichols of Cottonwood, Alabama, USA and propagated by Mark Crawford of Valdosta, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The medium sized 7.6 cm – 10.1 cm x 3.8 cm (treated 11.4 cm x 4.4 cm ) anemone form flower is burgundy. This profuse bloomer falls in one piece and is long lasting with consistent form and fluorescence. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for exhibition use. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 9.5 cm x 5.1 cm with low serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
