Dianchi Furong

Dianchi Furong (C. reticulata x C. nittidissima). China Regn. #2010-070. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2010, No.18, p.46. Flowers pale pink, rose double form, 9-10 cm m diameter; petals 20-24 in 3-4 whorls, near circular; stamens partly petaloidy, the rest connate at the base like a tube in the center; pistils rudimentary, styles splited half of length, infertile. Leaves 9-11 cm long and 3.5-4 cm wide, apices acuminate to caudate, deflexed, veins obviously depressed, similar to C. nittidissima. FI. Jan. to Mar.

滇池芙蓉 Camellia ‘Dianchi Furong’ 中国登录号：2010-070，《中国花卉园艺》2010年第18期46页。由王仲朗命名，中国科学院昆明植物研究所培育并登录。该品种为种间杂交种，母本为云南山茶，父本为金花茶，1987年杂交并采到种子当年播种，1988年6月嫁接于山茶品种‘白雪塔’砧木上，1992年始花。花浅粉红色，玫瑰型，花瓣排列整齐，20～24枚，3～4轮生，花径9～10㎝，雄蕊围成筒状于花心，花柱分裂至中部；叶片长椭圆形，长9～11㎝，宽3.5～4㎝，先端渐尖至尾尖，下勾，基部楔形，叶脉明显下陷，似金花茶叶。花期1月至3月。识别点：该品种为种间杂交种，母本为云南山茶，父本为金花茶，花为浅粉红色，较母本色浅，叶形及叶脉明显似金花茶，染色体2n=60。
