Dinh's Velvet (C. japonicaAmerican Camellia Yearbook, 2023, p.87. Registered in 2023. ACS Registration #3342. It was originated and registered by Chuck Ritter from Melrose, Florida, USA. A 15-year-old seedling of C. japonica 'Royal Velvet'. It was first bloomed in 2015. Flower semidouble to loose peony form, burgundy with veining with yellow anthers and white filaments, medium size, 8.9-10.2 cm in diameter. Leaf dark green, 5.1cm long and 2.5-3.8 cm wide. Plant vigorous growth rate, upright, medium density growth. Bloom early to late.
