Don Estes (Camellia hybrid) ACS Registration #3095. American Camellia Yearbook, 2018, p143 with detailed description and a photo which might be wrong as in pink color, but actually should be in creamy white. This 10-year-old C. hybrid seedling of ‘Jury’s Yellow’ first bloomed in 2011. It was originated by Shirley Estes of Brookhaven, Mississippi, registered by James Campbell of Covington, Louisiana, and propagated by Riverside Camellias of Covington, Louisiana. Bloom: The medium sized 10.16cm x 2.54cm formal double form flower is creamy white.This profuse bloomer falls in one piece, is long lasting, with heavy petal texture, and consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 7.62cm - 10.16cm x 3.81cm - 6.35cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
