Dongfang Xiurong

Dongfang Xiurong (C. japonica). China Regn. #2015-186. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2015, No.24, p.46.  Flowers loose peony form, pink with red line on the petals, medium size to large size, 10 cm diameter, petals 120-260, stamens partly petaloid, other stamens dispersed in bundles among the petals. Leaves elliptic, medium green, with prominent veining, margins serrate, 7-7.5 cm long,3-5 cm wide. Plant dense, growth fast. Flowers mid-season.

东方秀容 Camellia japonica ‘Dongfang Xiurong’ 中国登录号：2015-186，《中国花卉园艺》2015年第24期46页。由孙胜华命名，浙江省台州市的孙胜华培育并登录。本品种系‘花早春’ב丹芝’的杂交种。2006年春杂交，同年秋天结果播种，2007年4月出苗，2013年开花。萼片绿色，8枚，边缘褐色。花粉红色花，花瓣现红色脉纹,花色渐向边缘变浅，部分花瓣边缘近似玉白色，近中心花瓣尤为明显。松散牡丹型，中到巨型花，花径10㎝，雄蕊6～13 cm，雄蕊120～260枚，簇生，间生生在靠近中心花瓣之间，花药金黄，花絲白色，花瓣和雄蕊基部都连，雌蕊发育不全。叶中等绿色，椭圆形，中脉隆起，叶缘锯齿浅而疏，叶长7～7.5㎝，宽3～5㎝。植株匀称，枝条舒展，花期1～3月。
