ACS, The Camellia Journal, June 2006, p.28, colour photo p.29, Reg. No.2679. A chance seedling that first flowered 2000. Originated by Ed Powers, Wilmington, N.C., USA. The 14 to 15 cm diameter, rose form double flower is deep red variegated with white in a moiré pattern. Yellow anthers and white filaments. Heavy petal texture. Plant is open with average growth, and flowers early to late. American Camellia Yearbook, 2006, p.55 with color photo; Dark green leaves are 10 cm x 3.8 cm.
