EileenWeidman (C. japonica). ACSRegistration #3128. Registered in 2019. This 10-year-old C. japonicachance seedling first bloomed in 2015. It was originated by Clarence andLillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida, registered by Patrick Andrews and Bob Weidmanof Citra, Florida, and propagated by Woodside Camellias of Citra, Florida. Bloom: The large sized 12.7cm x 7.6 cm full peony form flower is medium pink. It has yellow anthers andwhite filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting with heavy petal texture,consistent form and falls in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate isaverage. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leavesaverage 11.4 cm x 4.4 cm with low serration. Bloom season: Midseason.
