ACS Registration #3069. This C. japonica sport of ‘Elaine’s Betty’ first bloomed in 2007. It was originated, registered and propagated by Gordon Rabalais of Arnaudville, Louisiana. Bloom: The medium to large sized 10.16cm x 7.62cm (treated 12.7cm - 15.24cm x 7.62cm - 10.16cm) loose peony to rose form double flower is deep pink in the center, shading to peachy pink, with blush pink edges. It has gold anthers and pale yellow filaments.This profuse bloomer falls in one piece, is long lasting, and has heavy petal  texture. The blooms have consistent form and fimbriation. The bloom is much more robust than most ‘Elaine’s Betty’ sports. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium greens leaves average 7.62cm - 10.16cm x 5.08cm - 7.62cm and are highly serrated. Bloom season: Midseason.
