American Camellia Yearbook, 1958, p.286, Reg. No.317: A 5 year old chance seedling that first flowered 1957; originated by Mrs Adam Grant, Dotham, Alabama, USA. Leaves serrate, average 6 cm x 3.2 cm. The delicate, rose coloured flowers have 10 very large petals, waved and ruffled at the edges with some petaloids mixed with stamens in the centre. Flower size 15 cm across x 7.5 cm deep.
