Australian Registration No.713. Originator unknown—never been registered.  CA, 2011, Camellia News, No. 185, Colour plates, Cover and page 8.  Plant is a variegated form of ‘Eryldene Excelsis’, first bred by Les Jury in N.Z. in 1981.  A large plant exists at Eryldene House, Gordon, NSW, Australia, and has been distributed for more than 5 years.  The flowers and foliage are the same as ‘Eryldene Excelsis’, except the flower has a white blotched variegation.  (Jim Powell, Australian Registrar, 16 August 2017).
