Evan Warriner (Camellia japonica) ACS Registration #3088. This 10-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2012. It was originated, registered and propagated by Tom Warriner of Birmingham, Alabama. Bloom: The large to very large sized 12.7cm - 15.24cm x 5.08cm - 6.35cm semi-double form flower is medium pink. It has yellow anthers and yellow filaments.This profuse bloomer falls in one piece, is long lasting, and has consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. The dark green leaves average 10.16cm x 3.81cm - 5.08cm with low serration. Midseason.
