Evelyne de Chailles. (C.yunnanensis hybrid). A 10 year old seedling of an F1 cross (C.yunnanensis x unknown) x an unknown male parent, first flowered 2010. European Reg. by the Société Bretonne du Camellia for the originator, Grall Raymond, Plougar, France. Plant is upright and spreading, with average growth rate. Leaves are dark green with recurved margins, 8cm x 4cm. Flowers are a wide open semidouble, 10cm diameter, with 9-10 petals. Colour is a clear light rose, with darker rose veining, more prominent towards the centre of the flower. Wide, tubular group of stamens, anthers gold, filaments yellow. Flowers early and for a long season. Flowers fall whole.
