Eye Candy (C. japonica) American Camellia Yearbook, 2023, p.82. Registered in 2023. ACS Registration #3333. It was originated and registered by Grant Montana from Colonels Island, Georgia, USA. A 6-year-old chance seedling of C. japonica. It was first bloomed in 2017. Flower formal double, very pale strawberry in the center gradually merging to medium strawberry on the outer edge with darker rays of strawberry radiating throughout, large size, 11.4-12.7in diameter. Leaf medium green, 8.3 cm long and 4.1cm wide. Plant average growth rate, spreading, medium density growth. Bloom mid-season.
