Sakuden, 1630, Hyakuchinshū: Large, formal double, red flower. Chinka Zufu, (before 1700), Watanabe, 1969, pl.111: Rose form to formal double with numerous, imbricated, small petals of soft, pale pink. Different readings: ‘Fukki’, ‘Huki’, Hūki’, ‘Fuki’. Originated in Japan. (Believed extinct.)
