Fleur de Crocus. (C. japonica), A 4 year old seedling, parentage unknown, first flowered 2013. European Reg. and raised by Alain Jouno, Parc Botanique de Haute Bretagne, Le Chattelier, France. A single, cup-shaped flower with a relatively thick column of stamens having gold anthers and white filaments. Flowers average 7 cm diameter x 5 cm deep. Leaves mid-green, flat, 7 cm x 3.2 cm. Plant upright, with medium growth rate. Flowers early and freely.
