Camelliana Nursery Catalogue, 1968, American Camellia Yearbook, 1970, p.163, Reg. No.1080: An 11 year old seedling that first bloomed 1962, originated by Dr John D. Lawson, Antioch, California, USA. Plant growth is open, upright and medium in rate with dark green leaves of medium size. The rose-form double bloom is blush white with bright yellow anthers and yellow filaments. It measures 13.5 cm across x 6 cm deep with 20-25 petals. The flower has a heavy, crepy texture. Blooms mid-season to late.
