ACRS., 1983, Camellia News, No.87, p.22, Reg. No.293: Originated by R. Hawkes, Woodside, South Australia as a seedling of Mary Wheeler that first flowered 1976. The light red, 8-10 cm, anemone form flowers are early to mid-season. A compact habit of growth with lanceolate,10 cm x 5 cm, leaves, light green, slightly serrate.
