Botanical Characteristics and Biological Traits: [Tree] Arbor, sparsely branched. [New Shoots] Single bud with one leaf in early February, single bud with two leaves in mid-February, buds and leaves yellow-green, few hairs; single bud with three leaves length 9.1 cm, weight per hundred buds with three leaves 116.8 g. [Leaves] Leaves grow horizontally; leaf length 14.0 cm, leaf width 5.9 cm, leaf area 57.3 cm², large leaves, elliptical; 8-12 pairs of veins, dark green color, flat surface, leaf blade inwardly folded, leathery and relatively hard; leaf serration medium in sharpness, sparse in density, shallow in depth; leaf base wedge-shaped, leaf apex gradually pointed, leaf margin flat. [Flowers] Blooming period late August; calyx 5, green, hairy; corolla diameter 4.1 cm, petals 6-10, white, moderate texture; ovary 5-chambered, hairy; style 1.3 cm long, tip of the style 3-lobed, shallowly divided, pistil low. [Fruits and Seeds] Fruit kidney-shaped, fruit diameter 3.8 cm x 2.1 cm, fresh skin thickness 1.0 mm; seeds spherical, seed size 1.55 cm x 1.75 cm, seed coat brown, weight per hundred seeds 119.1 g. Quality Traits: Suitable for green tea production. Green tea aroma 80 points, strong aroma; green tea taste 76 points, rich taste. Also suitable for black tea production. Black tea aroma 85 points, fairly high aroma; black tea taste 86 points, relatively rich and brisk flavor.
