» English Description

Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū, p.216: Faint peach pink ground with sparse red lines. Opens to a semi-double with short “yuki” style stamens. Medium sized. Mid-season flowering. Leaves, large-ovate, gently undulate; petiole hirsute. Plant habit spreading and vigorous. See colour photo, p.376, Yokoyama & Kirino, 1989, Nihon no Chinka. In the Murakami Family’s garden, Ecchū, Gokayama village there is the original ancient tree, designated an important cultural asset. Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Named and released by Mitsuroku Makino.
