ACS, Yearbook, 2013, p.116 with colour photo; Propagated and registered by Ralph Maphis, Tallahassee, Fla. A 25 year old seedling of (‘Crimson Robe’ (Dataohong) x C.lutchuensis) x Lilett Witman, first flowered 1990. The very large, 13.4cm diameter x 10cm deep flower is semidouble to peony form, red with a distinctive white frosting. Heavy petal texture and flowers fall whole. Yellow anthers and white filaments. Upright plant with average growth. Dark green leaves average 6.5cm x 3.8 cm with low serration. Late flowering.
