ACS Registration #3030. 2017 This 20-year-old C. sasanqua chance seedling first bloomed in 2000. It was originated by Jay Ellis of Keystone Heights, Florida and registered by Patrick Andrews of Citra, Florida, USA and propagated by Woodside Camellias of Citra, Florida, USA. Bloom: The large sized 4" x 2" semi-double form flower is dark pink. It has yellow anthers and yellow filaments. This profuse bloomer has consistent form. The blooms have rabbit ears. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping use. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 5.7 cm x 2.5 cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Early.
