Basic Information: 【Variety Type】Wild closely related species; 【Place of Origin】Maguan County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province; 【Conservation Location】Maguan County, Yunnan Province; 【Observation Site】Maguan County, Yunnan Province. Botanical Characteristics and Biological Traits: 【Tree】Small arbor, upright posture, tree height 7.3m, crown width 6.0m x 5.0m, basal trunk diameter 0.9m, dense branching. 【New Shoots】One bud one leaf stage in late February, one bud two leaves stage in early March, buds and leaves purplish red with dense trichomes. One bud with three leaves measures 7.9cm, weight of 100 buds with three leaves 115.8g. 【Leaves】Leaves positioned slightly upward, leaf length 14.8cm, leaf width 5.0cm, leaf area 51.8cm², large lanceolate leaves; 9~13 pairs of veins, yellow-green color, slightly raised surface, leaf blade folded inward, hard texture; leaf teeth blunt, medium density, shallow depth, wedge-shaped base, acuminate tip, slightly undulating margin. 【Flowers】Full bloom in early November, 5 sepals, green, glabrous; corolla diameter 5.0cm, 5 petals, white, thin texture; ovary with 4 locules, hairy; style 1.6cm long, tip of the style divided into 4 segments, median position, pistil prominent. 【Fruits and Seeds】Fruits spherical, fruit diameter 4.2cm, fresh fruit skin thickness 5.5mm; seeds hemispherical, seed diameter 2.0cm, seed coat brown.
