Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū, p.237, description: Pure white, large single with “chasen” (tea whisk) stamens, filaments deep yellow. Early season blooming. Leaves long-oval, medium sized, acuminate apex, glossy green. Plant habit erect and vigorous. Originated in Mure Town, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Named by Saneichi Koyama in 1976. Synonym: ‘Hakuhai-Kagawa’.
