Nippon Tsubaki - Sasanqua Meikan, 1998, p.310 with colour photo; English translation p.218. Medium to large, pinkish red, double to peony. Petal colour stays true to the end of blooming. Very early to early. Leaves elliptic, small, flat. Upright, vigorous growth, dense branches. A new natural seedling of Asakura from Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture.
