» English Description

Satō, 1975, Chūbu no Tsubaki, p.96: A medium size, 5 petalled single of campanulate form. Petals deep pink at their base, washing out almost to white at the petal edges, with an occasional streak of red. Leaves broad oval, dark green, blunt acute, fine, sharp serrations. Originated in Inazawa City, Aichi Prefecture, Chūbu, Japan by Shigeru Itō. Named and released by Minoru Satō in 1971.
