Encyclopedia of Camellias in Colour, vol.II, 1978, pl.316, p.133, description, p.245: A very soft, light pink, semi-double with 8-12 petals, 7 cm across and an open stamen cluster with light yellow anthers and cream filaments. Leaves mid-green, glossy, lanceolate, apex acute, shallowly serrate and undulate margins and hirsute petioles. Originated in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Named and released by Yotaya Snow Camellia Lovers Club in 1980s. Same characters as the “Higo” above. See also Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū, pp.121, 240.
