Nippon Tsubaki - Sasanqua Meikan, 1998, p.208 with colour photo; English translation p.145. Miniature tubular to trumpet shaped single, vertical stripes of red on white ground, cylindrical stamen column. Flowers mid-season to late. Leaves somewhat elliptic, small, recurved. Upright growth. A natural seedling of Awayuki. Named and released by Tadao Yamaguchi in 1985. From Ishikawa Prefecture.
