Sakuden, 1630, Hyakuchinshū: Pale pink, sin­gle. Begins to bloom in Autumn, petals serrated. Orignated in Japan. See: Kyōto Engei Kurabu, 1961, Tsubaki Tokushū, No.2, p.100. Different reading: ‘Ippon-no-shigure’.(Believed extinct.)
