Hong Shiyangjing

Gao & Zhuang, Apr.1989, The Camellia in China, p.37, No.180: A sport of Fenshi Yangjin. Large size, red, semi-double to open peony form with 3-4 rows of rounded, waved outer petals and small irregular centre of stunted sta­mens and erect petals. Originated in China.

Hong shiyangjing. (Camellia japonica)  Synonym: None  Originate: Sichuan  Characteristics: Plant growth vigorous, open, branches and shoots thicker, medium abundantly branching, medium foliage density. Leaves elliptic to obovate, dark green, with apex apiculate, base broad cuneate to mostly rounded, serrate deeply, measuring 9 cm to 10 cm long by 4 cm to 5 cm wide. Calyxes are opening. Flowers silver red, diameter 8 cm to 10 cm, flat petals rounded, imbricated regularly in rows, 86 segments, with occasional white spots at petals, with white stripes along main venation, apex fluted. Formal double form, medium floral abundance. Blooms February to April, at full blooming in March.  Key points of identification: Flowers silver red, with white stripes along central venation, and apex of petals fluted.

红十样景 Hong shiyangjing 周利主编、2011《川茶品种图鉴》 p.86。树势强健，树冠开张，枝姿较硬，成枝力较强，枝叶茂密；叶椭圆形至倒卵圆形，叶色深绿色，先端渐尖，基部宽楔形或近圆形，叶齿较深，叶长9cm~10cm,宽4cm~5cm;花萼开张，花银红色，花径8cm~10cm,平瓣花多轮，86枚，呈覆瓦状排列规则，整齐，花瓣近圆形，花瓣上有少量白色斑块，沿花瓣中脉有白色条纹，瓣尖中脉下凹，完全重瓣型，花量中等，花期2月~4月，盛花期3月。识别特征：花银红色，沿花瓣中脉有白色条纹，瓣尖中脉下凹。原始产地：四川
