[Characteristics] Shrub type, early species, strong growth potential, tree posture semi-open. Medium leaf type, leaf length 12.3 cm, width 3.8 cm, leaf blade lanceolate, leaf bearing state half upward slanting, leaf body inward folding. In Changsha area spring tea bud one leaf period in mid-March, the new buds and leaves green, velvet medium, bud three leaves 7.3 cm long, 100 buds weight 57.8 grams. Spring tea bud two leaves biochemical samples containing tea polyphenols 23.7%, amino acids 5.0%, caffeine 3.6%, water leachate 37.4%. Suitable for green tea. Green tea, the appearance of tightly knotted hair, soup color yellow-green and bright, high aroma, taste fresh and mellow, leaf bottom yellow-green and bright. The first growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves of 316 kg of fresh leaves, the same as the control 'Fuding Dabaicha'; the second growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves of 359 kg of fresh leaves, 1% less than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha'. It is resistant to tea cloudy leaf blight, tea anthracnose, tea cake disease, false eye small green leafhopper, tea orange mite, coffee small clawed mite, moderate cold resistance, strong drought resistance. 黄金茶5号 (Camellia sinensis ‘Huangjincha 5’). 陈亮等. 2024.《中国茶树品种资源志（上卷）茶树登记品种》第460-461页：【申请者】湖南省茶叶研究所。【育种者】赵洋；杨培迪；刘振；成杨；刘勇。【品种编号】非主要农作物品种登记号：GPD茶树（2024)430013。【品种来源】湖南省农业科学院茶叶研究所从‘保靖黄金茶’中单株选育而成。【特征特性】灌木型，早生种，生长势强，树姿半开张。中叶类，叶片长度12.3厘米、宽度3.8厘米，叶片呈披针形，叶片着生状态半上斜，叶身内折。在长沙地区春茶一芽一叶期在3月中旬，新梢芽叶绿色，茸毛中等，一芽三叶长7.3厘米、百芽重57.8克。春茶一芽二叶生化样含茶多酚23.7%，氨基酸5.0%，咖啡碱3.6%,水浸出物37.4%。适制绿茶。制绿茶，外形紧结显毫，汤色黄绿明亮，香气高，滋味鲜醇，叶底黄绿明亮。第一生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶316千克，与对照‘福鼎大白茶’一样；第二生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶359千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’减产1%。中抗茶云纹叶枯病、茶炭疽病、茶饼病，中抗假眼小绿叶蝉、茶橙癭螨、咖啡小爪螨，抗寒性中等，抗旱性较强。【适宜种植区域及栽培技术要点】适宜在湖南茶区冬、春两季种植。选择土壤肥沃的区域种植，同时加强肥水管理。建议与中生品种搭配种植。
