ACS Registration #2929. The Camellia Journal,2014, 69(4):28 with color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2014, p. 139 with color photo and description. This 8-year-old C. reticulata seed-ling of ‘Suzanne Withers’ and ‘Frank Houser’ first bloomed in 2009. It was originated by Hulyn Smith of Valdosta, Georgia and registered and propagated by Randolph Maphis of Tallahassee, Florida. Bloom: The very large sized 14.6cm x 7cm semidouble to full peony form flower is medium pink. It has gold anthers and white filaments. It is a profuse bloomer that has long lasting blooms with heavy petal texture, consistent form and falls in one piece. Many times the blooms are frosted white or florescent. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves average 11.5cm x 5.7cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
