No.1542: as 'In the Pink Var.': A medium sized, white, striped pink, formal to rose form double C.japonica mutant of In the Pink. Blooms mid-season to late.. Originated by Kramer Bros. Nursery, Upland, California, USA.

In The Pink Variegated 红粉佳人(变)(C. japonica)红山茶。1977，美国加州Upland，Kramer兄弟种苗园。'In The Pink'的枝变种。完全~玫瑰形、粉红底、白色条斑、少量红条、中轮(9~10cm)、花期1~3月、树性直立、浓密、长势强。此变种的花色有些怪异、白条纹的形态不像病毒染白斑、变化的程度可能相当大。
