American Camellia Yearbook, 1956, p.62, Reg. No.254: A 6 year old chance seedling, originated by Ernest E. Judice, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA that first flowered 1954. Plant growth is open, upright and slow with medium sized, bright, dark green leaves. Flowers, light pink, incomplete double with large petaloids, 28 petals in three rows. Two rows inclined to be flat, the third row has rabbit ears with a pompon of stamens and petaloids 6 cm high in the centre. The flowers are 11-12.5 cm across with 23 petaloids. Early flowering.
