This 15-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of ‘Marie Bracey’ first bloomed in 2008. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The large sized 1.7cm x 7.6cm rose form double to loose peony form flower is light pink. It has yellow anthers. The bloom has consistent form, falls in one piece and is long lasting. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves have low serration and average 8.9cm x 5.1cm. Bloom season: Early to midseason.
