ACRS, Camellia News, 1995, No.135, p.13, Reg. No.456: Originated by Mrs G. Lloyd-Smith, Burwood, Victoria, Australia. Flower colour deep red (RHS.CC.58A) informal double form with 15 petals and occasional petaloids, 6.5 cm across x 3.5 cm deep. Flowers early on a slow growing, bushy plant. Leaves glossy olive-green, ovate to elliptic, flat, finely serrate, apices acute, 5.5 cm long x 3 cm wide. Petals notched and opening flat. Filaments in a column with petaloids. Flowers shed whole. Low growing, compact shrub with small leaves.
