American Camellia Yearbook, 1982, p.173, Reg. No.1831: A medium blush, shading vivid magenta, loose peony form C.japonica (Dr Tinsley x Debutante) , early to late flowering. Originated by David L. Feathers, Lafayette, California, USA. First bloomed 1971. Average flower size 8 cm across x 5 cm deep with 30 petals, gold anthers and white filaments. Plant growth is average in rate with medium green leaves 8 cm long x 5 cm. wide.
