This 30-year-old C. reticulata chance seedling first bloomed in 1999. It was originated by Frank Pursel of Oakland, California, USA and Hulyn Smith of Valdosta, Georgia, USA and registered and propagated by Randolph Maphis of Tallahassee, Florida, USA. Bloom: The medium sized 9.9cm x 5.1cm (treated 10.8cm x 6.4cm) rose form double form flower is very light pink almost white with darker pink edges. It has gold anthers and white filaments. This long lasting, profuse bloomer shows fluorescence and has consistent form. The bloom has an unusual color that almost looks translucent. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves average 12.7cm x 7cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
