This 12-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2010. It was originated and registered by Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida, USA and propagated by Loch Laurel Nursery of Valdosta, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The large sized 12.7cm x 5.1cm (treated 13.3cm x 5.7cm) semi-double form flower is rose red. It has gold anthers and cream filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting and falls in one piece with consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is upright. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves average 8.9cm x 3.8cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
