Encyclopedia of Camellias in Colour, vol.II, 1978, p.146, colour photo, p.250, description: Medium sized single of 5 petals of blush white background, pep­pered and dotted carmine on rounded, emarginated petals. Orange yellow anthers and white filaments form a compact, stamen cylinder. Leaves dark green, elliptic, apex acuminate, recurved, margins crenate-serrulate. Late flowering. Originated in a temple in Matsu’e City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan. Named and released by Tomohisa Arikawa in 1975.
