Juse Xiaoxia

Juse Xiaoxia (C. azalea × C. azalea F1 new hybrid 'Xiafeng Relang'). Liu Xinkai et al. 2023, Illustrations of the New Camellia Hybrids that Bloom Year-round, Zhejiang Science and Technology Publishing House, p.241. HAR-02-16., a cross seedling (DXFRL-No.30) of C. azalea × C. azalea F1 new hybrid 'Xiafeng Relang'. Flowers light orange pink but light pink or nearly white at the upper part of petals, semi- double form, medium size, 8.0-10.0cm across and 5.0cm deep with about 15 large petals arranged in 2 rows, petals broad obovate, edges rolled inward, stamens radial-shaped, bloom dense. Leaves dark- green, heavy leathery, narrow elliptic, urgently cuneate at the base, margins nearly smooth. Plant upright and growth vigorous. Starts to bloom from early-summer, fully blooms from autumn to winter and sporadically in spring. The cultivar name means “Orange Color Foredawn”.
