Kaomise

Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū, p.31, description, p.205: Medium size, red, peony to anemone form, with large, outer, guard petals surrounding a cen­tre of small, twisted and folded petals. Leaves, obovate, mid-green, apex acuminate, margins finely serrulate. Petiole hirsute. Originated in Arai City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Collected by Susumu Ishizawa, named and released by Kaoru Hagiya in 1970.
