Kyō no Tsubaki to Tera, 1981, pp.26, 27: Red, semi-double to open, informal double, 3-4 rows of waved and fluted petals showing a small, central stamen cluster when fully open. Leaves bright green, medium size, oval, apex suddenly acute, margins sharply serrate. Originated in Japan.
