ACRS., 1969, Camellia News, No.36, p.15, Reg. No.115: Originated by C.F. Walton, St. Ives, N.S.W., Australia. A chance seedling that first flowered 1967. Flowers are 10-11 cm across, light red, semi-double. Mid-season to late flowering. Leaves dark green, 10 cm x 6 cm, broadly ovate, bluntly acute with apex twisted down, medium serrations on a slow, compact growing plant.
