Inazawa Nursery Co. Ltd Catalogue,1986-­1987, p.11, A-543: Very small, dark red, tubular to campanulate single of 6 petals and whitish stamen column. Leaves light green, elliptic, margins coarsely serrate. See, p.181, Yokoyama & Kirino, 1989, Nihon No Chinka. Originated in a wild population in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan. Named and released by Hiroyoshi Yagashira in 1980.
