Camellia Grove Nursery Catalogue, 1954, p.20: Variable single to semi-dou­ble, white, medium size, often with ski-like petaloids standing above the stamens. Medium, upright growth, light green leaves. Originated in Australia. Its origin is unknown as it was grown from a cutting obtained in a Sydney florists. Named for Australia’s highest mountain. Orthographic errors: ‘Kosciusito’, ‘Kosciosko’.
