No.667: An 11 year old chance seedling of Elizabeth Boardman that first bloomed 1956, originated by D.W. Davis, USA. Plant growth is dense and spreading with dark green leaves averaging 11 cm x 6 cm. The semi-double flowers, similar to ‘Frizzle White’, are deep rose. Blooms are 13 cm across x 7.5 cm deep with 42 petals, 30-40 stamens and 10-75 petaloids. Inner petals well “rabbit eared”. Blooms early to mid-season. Orthographic error: ‘Lady Velman’. Sport: Lady Velma Varie­gated.
