Waterhouse, 1952, Camellia Trail, p.31: Large semi-double, 12-13 cm across with about 20 petals and a narrow cylinder of slender stamens. The tall petals are deeply notched at the apex, forming two lobes. Colour fuchsine pink (627/2 to /1) Raised from seed by E.G. Waterhouse, Gordon, N.S.W., Australia from a plant of C.saluenensis from Marchants Nursery, England. See colour photo p.51, Macoboy, 1981, The Colour Dictionary of Camellias.
