Griffin, ed. 1958, Camellian, vol.IX, No.3, p.29: A wonderful, land­scape specimen Camellia. Grows tall and narrow. Has dark green foliage and narrow, pointed leaves. Semi-double, light pink, flower about 10 cm across. Colour of ‘Pink Perfection’ (Otome) Flowers mid-season. Originated in USA by Hugh Shackleford.
